Batonnier boost for King

Alan King's Cheltenham hopes were boosted again on Wednesday and he didn't have a runner on the track.
For when Low Gales sprung a huge 33/1 shot in Ludlow's last race, it paid a huge compliment to his Neptune Investment hope Batonnier.
Batonnier had won well at Cheltenham on the one time they have met which extraordinarily saw the Charlie Mann trained 'Gales' beaten 67 lengths.
Yet here he was beating the Philip Hobbs favourite Danandy by nearly two lengths with the Nicky Henderson-trained hope Beringer way back in the pack.
Admittedly Low Gales was only winning a maiden hurdle on Wednesday, but regardless of that the form line into Batonnier's chance is clear.
He is currently priced at 8.00, while Fingal Bay is at 6.00 and Boston Bob is at 3.50.
And given King's current form with Balder Success and Invictus winning at Ascot and Lovcen at Wincanton following Montbazon's win in his Newbury Cheltenham trial, the signs are very promising for the yard.
All the aforementioned are set for runs at Cheltenham and King also revealed that Walkon is also set to feature in the RSA Chase and can be backed at 26.00.
