Tevez set for Mancini talks

Carlos Tevez is pencilled in for talks to meet with Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini on Thursday.
Carlos Tevez is finally back with Manchester City. The Argentina striker publicly apologised to the club for his actions on Tuesday night, having gone AWOL back in his homeland for the last three months and having seen a January transfer fail to materialise.
Tevez is training on his own in a bid to improve his fitness and will be a spectator when his team-mates take on Porto in the Europa League at the Etihad Stadium tonight.
He is yet to meet directly with Mancini, who will be hoping his side can now progress into the final 16, having come from behind to win 2-1 in Portugal last week.
It is understood the majority of the City squad will be handed a rest day on Thursday and the Italian will then take the opportunity to speak with Tevez about what he expects from him for the remainder of the campaign.
City may give a rest to one of either Vincent Kompany or Joleon Lescott, with Kolo Toure poised to come into the reckoning in the centre of defence against Porto.
Midfielder James Milner could also deputise for Gareth Barry, with Mancini having one eye on Saturday evening's home clash with Blackburn Rovers.
City are 1.062 to progress at the expense of Porto and 1213.00 to go on and win the Europa League this season.
